Free Online Courses from MIT

If you have an advanced student, or one that is especially proficient in a particular subject, the classes offered by MIT may be perfect for you. I know that teaching a child topics that are beyond your understanding or knowledge level can be a challenge. But it isn’t impossible!

MIT offers free online courses in the following areas of interest:

  • Aeronautics & Astronautics;

What I like most about these online courses is that many offer lecture notes, video lectures, audio lectures or a combination of all 3. Many also include assignments (some with answers, some without), quizzes, study guides and tests.

The types of assignments listed in these courses will look great in a high school transcript. 🙂
