Unschooling is defined as learning through life experiences. There are different degrees of unschooling, as with many other things. Strict unschoolers avoid the use of text books, homework, and all other things that are traditionally linked to the word “school”. Other unschooling families may use a few different aspects from a “traditional” school setting, such as worksheets or maybe a unit study here or there.
