The Water Cycle Song – Lyrics and Sing Along

Make Science interesting for your little ones with fun songs that will help them remember facts! The Water Cycle song will make it simple for kids to remember how water is used by our Earth.

OK, I’ll be honest…this song is incredibly annoying to parents and older children alike, due to the repetitious lyrics! But, it’s a hit with the younger kids, so if your kids are learning about the water cycle, this could be the song for you!

Water Cycle Song Lyrics

The water cycle
takes the water and moves it up
and down and
all around the Earth
(4x)

Evaporation comes when the heat from the sun
warms up all the ground water
then it turns to water vapor
Condensation takes over
It goes up to the clouds
water vapor cools down
and it changes to a liquid
Precipitation happens when the drops get big
It falls like rain, snow, sleet and hail upon my head
I know
It’s the water cycle happening again
Evaporation, condensation, precipitation

The water cycle
takes the water and moves it up
and down and
all around the Earth.
(2x)

Evaporation comes
when the heat from the sun
warms up all the ground water
then it turns to water vapor
condensation takes over
It goes up to the clouds
water vapor cools down
and it changes to a liquid
Precipitation happens when the drops get big
It falls like rain, snow, sleet and hail upon my head
I know
It’s the water cycle happening again
Evaporation, condensation, precipitation

The water cycle
takes the water and moves it up
and down and
all around the Earth.
(2x)

Evaporation comes
when the heat from the sun
warms up all the ground water
then it turns to water vapor
Condensation takes over
it goes up to the clouds
water vapor cools down
and it changes to a liquid
precipitation happens when the drops get big
it falls like rain, snow, sleet and hail upon my head
I know it’s the water cycle happening again
Evaporation, condensation, precipitation

The water cycle
takes the water and moves it up
and down and
all around the Earth.
(4x)
